When this was around 4-5c, I was saying, another smaller cr was a possibility after the SWF investment and at a higher sp. I wasn't expecting it this early but here it is. Not sure why they didn't wait until after construction had started and done it at a higher sp but this is the third time this week I have seen this.
LTP just completed a cr after the sp had halved from a recent high and despite not needing any cash for at least a number of months or more. That took most by complete surprise. A couple of days later they released a positive announcement. Why didn't they do the cr when the sp was at $2 rather than when it dropped to $1.05?
SNT also went into TH this week, just one day before releasing very positive early phase two trial results. You could ask why they couldn't give it a few days to climb on those results first!
However, the other side of the coin is that anyone buying either of those two after the good news (or MNB after start of construction) on a higher sp, only to see it go into TH for a cr, would then be angrily accusing the company of pumping the sp ahead of a cr - and fair enough.
