Delusional pumper here, back at the request of those stranded doomsayers still marooned on the platform while the train of hope has left the station. Well not all trains have left.. the ntrain remains.. that one seems to have mechanical problems.. looks to be overheating.. making a lot of downramping doomsday predictions..lots of bad noises coming from it.. it wants to leave.. advising others to leave, spitting vitriol in all directions but juuust..caannt...quiiite pull away.. needs some serious care and attention to avoid any more self harm or total immolation to his investment..

Yes these are bad times.. yes we would all dread a raise at this price, yes from what we know at present there is not a known source of income to bridge the gap between the present time and 9 months or so down the track where there sits a solid plan for a stream of income that will likely sustain the exploration funding needs for quite a while, if not on an ongoing basis. I'd be very surprised if there wasn't some other form of cash, other than or in addition to a cash raise between now and gold mining profits from the SoM. This company is not known for sitting on its hands.

You can sell out now, take your losses on the chin and put your money elsewhere. That might work,or it quote possibly might not work too. This is exploration after all. You'd want to put your money into a good company wouldn't you?

One where management are heavily invested along with their fellow share holders, so you know that if times get tough they are working in your best interests because they are also have their nuts in the same vice and feel the pain of every movement too.

it'd be a good idea to get a co with a some great ground over a range of minerals with a history of discovery success and a and a communication style that was proactive and accessible. They are good attributes to have. There are others too but you'd probably be hard pressed to find a company with them all. There is never 'a sure thing'. I guess what you'd want is a lot of exposure to the upside of mineral discovery.

if anyone knows a company like that, let me know. I could be interested.

Anyway, the way I see our situation is that explorers are like a machine. A machine that is designed to make discoveries. Like any machine is needs all the bits and pieces in place and working in harmony when operating. A well designed one has the physical parts, and subsystems, management laid out well and running optimally. Now and then it might need a service or tune up,some parts renewed.. maybe a new pump after a while .. but at its heart it is still a good one.

point is.. this DRE mineral discovery machine is a very capable one, it's got most of the bits and pieces in the right places. It's very capable but its running low on fuel, and fuel is expensive at the moment but as long as we keep it running it's got a better chance than many of making a significant discovery. I'd rather have a good machine that just needs a top up of fuel than a crappy machine with a full tank..

Ok that's the end my long-winded analogy.. Roll on the complaints and whinges.

Ultimately the small explorers all end up in the recycle bin if they don't make a decent discovery, so that's what where here for. The bits and pieces are in place for that to happen and like any explorer we just need that little bit of luck to go our way at the right time. It hasn't recently but it won't stay that way forever.

I remember another company in WA that also had large land holding along prospective shears and interesting ground. They also had some ups and downs, encountered lots of negativity and controversy at the time. Their share price was in the shitter and they DID end up doing a fairly costly raise at the time. Many shareholders quit in disgust, swearing never to return. Even worse they didnt have a plan to becoming self funded like DRE, however today 4000 + % appreciation later, Degrey Mining are going to be taken over for the equivalent of $50000000 aud.. and quite possibly more.

there are more than a few tears of regret from holders who rage quit that stock back then. Just something to keep in mind when making decisions during these testing times.

Price is what you pay, value is what you get.
