can someone through some light on Tanzanian politics? I have no idea and so I am asking to get a head start on following the political landscape. I want to assess, how much similarity Tanzania has with let's say Mozambique. Is there a chance of a similar situation in Tanzania? if it is then, in what way.

Last time, when I did some research, I found that it is almost impossible for the ruling party to lose power in Tanzania. Not sure, if it is still there or what are the other options.

As of Chinese influence, I am pretty sure they and everyone in this world would be doing everything in their hand to control any graphite player anywhere in the world. I can also say that the influence is not only restricted to Africa. They are able to influence things here in Australia too. I will cite examples where they bought stakes and did nothing to make it happen. EV1 and probably, now RNU getting aligned with them. WKT has already met its fate. and Chinese may not be the only one. Probably, India is too trying their luck there. The only thing, I am still hopeful for Tanzania is, First Tanzania is not a small country like Sri Lanka and 2nd, Tanzania govt has a big stake, 16% in the projects. Moreover, the recent moves by Tanzania govt like making Hydro dams, bridges and railway lines suggest they are serious about making the country a big Graphite player. Making the Julius Nyerere dam, you can only think of your grandson seeing it, if it has to happen in Australia. Tanzania's govt has invested a lot in creating infrastructure to support mining and processing, so it doesn't look like they are influenced by any superpower (China, India, US or Europe). Probably, they have taken a neutral path and up for nation-building. They might be waiting or negotiating for a bigger pie which is the processing of minerals. If they do, I will say that are smarter than all other govt mentioned above.
I have invested in EGR for a long time so I am blindsided with the positives only, so please feel free to correct me. I am willing to know what are the risks in real terms, not just saying, it is Africa. I see Tanzania breaking the pattern of Africa.

    All in my opinion.
