If I were in charge at Boeing engineering I would certainly have put CVM tech through every last test, check, double check etc. If it is as reliable as it is reported and given the extent of testing, it seems now high time to refer it as pre approved for FAA to finally approve. What is very hard to understand is WHY hasn’t Boeing seen CVM as an improvement to safety and utilised it as a PR gift that they are now adopting additional safety equipment on every new aircraft?? It seems they have missed an opportunity so far, but let’s hope they will see the light in the immediate future, I have a strong feeling that they will.
