I have absolutely no idea as to how better scanner capability plays out vs more accurate image sensing capability of Cu64, and I'm sure many are in the same boat as myself.
I'm not sure if a good analogy is camera zoom capability ie optical zoom (in this comparison Cu64), vs digital zoom (current standard for imaging).
Optical zoom is generally better for image quality, while digital zoom is better for quickly getting a closer view.
