Dahook ..not true many people have been misled by charts..you have to be very very careful.
An Encyclopaedia of Chart Patterns by Thomas Bulkowski does a full,analysis of many examples of each chart pattern and on a probability analysis points out the probability of success of the range of Chart Patterns from Double top,Double Bottom and Head and Shoulders and reverse Head and Shoulders and many many more...and in every case there is a probability of success and NOTHING is 100%.
In his analysis he picked a relatively small samples of about a dozen or so cases of each...a proper sample might be a minimum of 100 charts and some might say a thousand..."but nothing is 100% ."
