"You keep talking about the $6m insiders bought but what’s that $6m worth now and what’s their average, might be worth about 1-2m now"
It's $6.8M, not $6M (ie. if you're going to round off to the nearest million, then it's $7M, not $6M).
They have put in 10% of all CR money since they came onboard (putting money into every CR), from 0.003c to 10c, so they're currently in the red, but I'd guess their $6.8M would be worth $5M, and I'll guess that as always, these guys end up making big money.
"they have obviously got it wrong on the companies path once or twice before, and maybe continuing on that same path."
Which companies? I don't remember them failing at any company - all from tiny market caps into successes, but if you can find any that I've missed then put it up here and we can add that 1 fail against the many successes, but none that I can remember from top of my head.
And even if they did, it sort of gets cancelled out by starting multiple multi-billion dollar companies, from scratch?
"DT could get an offer too good to refuse"
Yes, he'd definitely be an MD in demand, especially comparing him to all my other past and present holding MD's. But let's hope he doesn't get hit by a bus, even though the rest of the Team is very capable, I wouldn't want to lose Dean under any circumstance, and he's already one of the biggest shareholders, and has performance milestones (getting into production, defining 400,000 ounces of gold, etc), so he's got more to gain/lose from DRE's performance than most shareholders.
"Let’s see how the New Year goes if nothing happens before the weeks out, the $250k should put a turkey or two on the table for the work Xmas party anyway. "
Yeah, let's see how it goes. Sounds a bit "hard to believe", but I'm pretty sure I've said it multiple times on here already in the past; the SP doesn't make a difference to me (although I do prefer it greener/higher, as I've also said many times) as I'm not here for a pump and dump - I'm here for the DRE strategy to play out: explore, discover, define deposit, cash in deposit, return funds to shareholders (ie. divi/capital return), rinse and repeat. REE is there ready for this, just need the NdPr price to go up, and gold will be next, etc.
That strategy playing out means making money/getting paid, without selling shares - the biggest worry I've had for a long time is a takeover, which means there goes their strategy, and you only get paid once - but Management holds a lot of shares so would be able to block a takeover with other LT holders.
Anyway, looking forward to 2025 starting, and the countdown to mining commencing in the same year, and everything else along the way (feasibility study, locking in the deal with BC8 (hopefully with some cash), other divestments/deals, etc).
Cheers,
GB.
