The Albanese government has then followed with the Future Made in Australia laws. Europe, the United States, the Republic of Korea, and Japan, cannot afford for us to fail either. Plus, the recent restrictions on the shipment of graphite from China to the US for military usage would say that we should be close to a deal.
Therefore, why hasn't RNU been snapped up?
Maybe, Multinationals need to share in the risk too and not just rely on the resource to deliver - which maybe in part why others have failed. Also, Multinationals have complex supply chains and shareholders to appease that maybe making decisions before President-elect Trump gets in office could be seen as too risky and premature.
Setting up in South Australia makes sense. It solves a number of supply chain issues that may continue to occur in an increasingly geopolitical unstable environment. Time should prove this over and over again.
Or maybe its as simple as some SH's were hoping for an early Xmas present, and have taken off on their vacation.
