    Last property crash, 92 or thereabouts, rates went to about 18.5 %

    This time round, it was going to be Queensland that was going to be the growth state and lift Aust. From the doldrums with the influx of people from Asia, with Qld now experiencing one of Aust's biggest natural disasters and the world wide coverage it's getting, it is not going to happen, seems a lot of young ins on this site that either can't remember 1992, or didn't have mortgages then.
