Molycorp will be busy funding its own development and is not a likely contender for LYC. Also the government has set a precedent for a takeover of LYC by a "foreign" company.
BHP or Rio are the most likely. Both rolling in disposable income. Both as greedy as one another to be a bigger company.I doubt if any take over offer is in the pipeline before production starts and proves the project.
