re: Ann: Daily share buy-back notice - Append... Buyback still on and at increasing price. Buyback started at 44c and now at 50.5c. Probably responsible for all the SP increase during that time. Looks like a buyback uses funds more to our advantage than if the money had been paid out as a dividend.
As shareholders we get an advantage from having our "chief" as a large shareholder ensuring that company activities and policy will be directed in our direction. That is the way it ought to be.
The saying is never to fall in love with a stock but this one is hard to ignore in that way.
