Just to be very clear, the fact Ting has approved the completion of Platform 6 means Platform 5 is an absolute success. The announcement of completing Platform 6 is what I consider Platform 5 results.
Ting is using all the fail safes in Platform 5 to deliver a successful Platform 6 at 20nm. Ting is looking out for investors in imec’s cleanroom and would have never approved Platform 6 if Platform 5 did not give him what he needed to succeed.
