She lives in this region.... ........... THE northern parts of the Gold Coast are now in the flood firing line, with more heavy dumps of rain expected over the next 24 hours.
With the weather bureau predicting more rain over the next seven days, Premier Anna Bligh said it was not yet clear how it would affect the Gold Coast.
"It's not clear at this stage exactly where we are going to see this rainfall but it is likely to be in the southern suburbs of Brisbane and the northern parts of the Gold Coast," she said.
"I haven't any indications at this stage that the river systems at the Gold Coast are at risk of swelling further from this particular rainfall although we might start to see inflows into the catchment."

Im on the top of the SSCoast Hinterland ranges and my home is relatively OK...Its in a cut and fill hillside excavation and the water Just cant get away quickly enough, bathroom and laundry flooded...With the record rainfall most properties will have some damage......Im Just Grateful and very concerned for those in the Brisbane River wake...I witnessed the 74 floods, unbelievable and this may be worse Thoughts are with you down there in Bris.
