Wrong. He didn't exercise options and than sell his shares to cover his costs. He did that this year. So I'm not over simplifying it, it is that simple.
He sold his shares, without any explanation, again tanking the share price as he does so often to build house renovations (or atleast thats the excuse he gave AFTER everyone criticised him, and he had a cry about it at the AGM). If you're a director of a penny stock R&D company thats selling your holdings while telling everyone how amazing the company is, you damn sure better explain yourself.
Go back to 2021 to refresh your memory, but I don't remember you being around back then so maybe you're one of the newer investors. Dave at this point hasn't put a single dollar into this company because he has already taken the profits and more of what he put in.
