@JoannieMy good news is: , that after a 6 week's absence, and assumed dead, my Lillycat turned up this morning, very skinny, full of fleas, but madly meeauwing and running towards me - I have missed her terribly - so happy!! its the best Christmas present.
@NoBoDe is still hanging on, even though he's got bad emphysema, but I tide him over with nightly talks, where he always has a story to tell.
He is still planning a visit over here, wants to see his paintings again, which he gifted me and I have some 30 hanging on my walls.
Doesn't think much of his old thread, though - even though I keep him interested in the goings on - his thoughts are on 'the other world' a lot of the time. But 'c'est la vie'
