Takeovers in the International market can be quite brutal. Up until now the ASX has been sheltered from much of the cutthroat world of business, but with the world's eyes upon as a growth area expect this stuff to happen more and more.
It would be naive to think WN haven't planned this out in advanced. They will have had the best of international lawyers going over the fine print to ensure the legalities of this move.
Like it or not i get the feeling our portfolios will have the line WNI in them.
