    about 27 years ago, i bought a property for about $30,000 from some smooth talking real estate guy - sold it a few years later for about $25,000 - and apart from that loss, i also lost every week, as the rental income did not meet the outgoings - then there was trouble renting to property, and collecting the rent - yeah i am not impressed with property. having said that, i can see why some people like property. i had another go in about 1992, and bought a property for $85000, and sold in 1999 for $120,000 - but always a bother with the rent etc etc - was glad to get out
