@kingpins thanks for your post - can you tell me how to buy Ivermectin? (I'll make a phonecall to you, if that's preferred).
I am perfectly happy to buy it for NoBoDe - though, he being a chemist by training, doesn't 'believe' in it - I am more of your opinion - it seems harmless enough to give it a go, and he has already put more drugs (and some of them more dangerous!) into his body, than most of us would do in a lifetime, it cannot possibly do him any more harm.
Ivermectin's principal use over the years is as an anti-bacterial - and anti-vermin-type medication.
His reaction was, yes it is an anti-parasitic drug used by vets and also used against Scabies in people. He has obviously not read the long screeds published on HC - he no longer reads HC.

I believe it is harmless enough to give it a try - I would, if I were in his position.
If I can get it for him, I am sure he would try it, he is so desperate now, has even given up the idea of visiting here, because of his breathing difficulties and inability to walk and carry a suitcase etc. which you need to do, when travelling.

I hope you had a lovely Christmas
mine was, mostly enhanced by my darling cat's return and surrection
    (but also family, of course)
but I am mostly tired these days, never seem to have a break from the round of duties around here.
    Go well
    Taurisk
