Sean Duffy as Head of the FAA is hardly going to just approve APB. The thing on his desk he will be most concerned about is anti-trust and whether Boeing which makes a lot of military aircraft based on designs of 737s and other general aviation planes in its fleet can be replaced by a leaner, more commercial and less culturally problematic company than what Boeing has become.

Remember that although Trump has in the past said some good things about Boeing and the FAA, these were made before the Nikki Haley Primary bid and before the Boeing 737-800 Max MCAS inspired disasters of Ethiopian Airways in Addis Ababa and LionAir in the Java sea.

So Sean Duffy is unlikely to be of any help in 2025 for SMN. Boeing Corp and its demise will be more front of mind for Sean Duffy.
