    re: Ann: BLG Engages Specialist Foundry Servi... Hi BillOM,

    Well presented post.
    I don't look in here every day so it's interesting to now see how jumpstart has stirred the pot.
    I also don't have much time to draft a response at the moment as I am on my lunch break, on site, on a shutdown installation project.

    Just a couple of points;

    Being a grown up doesn't mean that you have to forsake your sense of humour, even in financial forums such as this one. I particularly enjoy 431neb's contributions in this regard.

    I also don't see much point in trying to come up with a valuation on the company based on the available nebulous figures and assumptions. This has been done here in the forum by many others in the past, and the numbers are basically determined by the assumptions one makes.

    Nevertheless, for the sake of those who demand such things, how about this for a "rough as' "back of the envelope" "lunch break" valuation.

    Looking at the tooling market only:

    Aixtron and Veeco have a combined market cap' of around $3Billion from memory.
    Assuming no disruptive technology from BLG, just a cheaper alternative to allow a conservative 10% market penetration in a few years.
    BLG has around 200 million shares, allow this to blow out to say 300 miillion.
    This equates to a share price of $1.00 or 660% on todays price.
    But this is without allowing anything for the PV side of the business.
    BLG know more than us, and internally values the PV component higher then the LED component, but let's make them equal.

    So the rough as guts (conservative?) valuation for BLG in a few years time would be around $2 per share, or %1300 on today's market price.

    That figure can be adjusted up or down enormously, depending on your mindset, your assumptions and depending on your method of valuation, but I'm not going to do any more than the above for you.

    For those that are interested, Tock returns soon and we will no doubt get his updated take on the company, his latest fad, whether that be cleanskin wine, pizzas, or fine cheese.

    Apart from the information we have all shared in the past, for what it's worth, I for one enjoy the humour, the banter and the camaraderie, that exists among the small band of BLG holders and watchers that still exist here in this forum.

    Cheers all
