i'm obviously biased but thanks to socrates for pointing out the true situation. there has been a wealth of misinformation regarding the class actions.

i'm not an insurance expert but there is another issue here - no matter what insurance you indemnify your directors for there is no such thing as unconditional insurance. if your board gives out false information then from my understanding is that conditions have been breached and no insurance company will pay out. think about it in these terms - if you insure your house and then set fire to it then the insurance company is not going to pay out - check your policy!

and if those clowns do trigger an insurance payout, just imagine what their next years premium would be.
