Rutile: ~95% TiO₂ (19–21%)
Anatase: ~98% TiO₂ (4–7%)
Pseudo-rutile: ~70% TiO₂ (68–70%)

Total TiO₂ grade: Approx. 70% (a respectable figure for a heavy mineral sands deposit).

Assuming a 1 tonne of composite, approximate values:

Rutile: 0.2 tonnes × $2,000 = $400
Anatase: 0.05 tonnes × $1,200 = $60
Pseudo-rutile: 0.7 tonnes × $600 = $420

Total value/tonne: ~$880

The composite is economically viable, particularly with high rutile content.

High rutile grades are sought after for their purity and ease of processing.

High Rutile Content: a content of 19–21% is considered good in the heavy mineral sands industry. Premium prices can be expected for high-grade rutile concentrates.

Anatase Contribution: at 4–7%, anatase adds valuable TiO₂ content.

Pseudo-rutile: While less valuable, the high percentage (68–70%) can still contribute substantially to the overall economic value after processing.
