How is everyone still debating whether or not pl5 failed when they already announced that it succeeded in its goal in revealing optimizations they've been able to apply to pl6. That was its entire purpose, when they've finished the speed tests they're not going to announce its 10x faster than pl4 and the market goes crazy, it's literally just a process optimization run that's already fulfilled its purpose.
