This is all my opinion since I have had no contact with management for a while.
I believe today may well be the most important day ever for Nearmap - since the team solved the technology anyway.
On nearmap facebook is a message that says we have been granted air traffic control permission to fly (it apparently was denied yesterday).
If we have clear sky then the world will see the Brisbane flood at it's highest peak - I cannot imagine any more solid evidence possible - finally, after all this time - we will be able to see the entire region in high resolution.
I have no idea if we are able to do Ipwich etc. Nor do I know if the other regionals can be done - I believe we only need 4 hours for brisbane.
If we get a good capture today - it should give the company one hell of a jolt - can you imagine who will want to see these images?
This queensland stuff all up is the biggest natural disaster in Australia's history - we really need to image this.
Please god, let the skies be clear.
Have a great day
Pinto
