Kingpins, I expect most people would be happy to discuss a range of issues. I feel that using language to dismiss some as being stupid, a cult follower, someone who supports a rapist etc quite unacceptable in good company. it seems that this thread can discuss Covid, vaccinations, climate and other assorted topics without too much problem. As soon as Trump is mentioned the heads start exploding. perhaps we can navigate our way through this problem by talking about things in general. I’ll start by asking if anyone wants to adopt an Eastern Grey kangaroo and her joey that have made their home in our garden. After the 22 flood the doe sheltered under the eaves of our machinery shed with a ting joey in the pouch. Since then the joey has grown and now both of them have decided to stay in the garden where they partake of a host of plants especially the roses. It is possible to walk within 3 metres of them lounging in the shade of the Jacaranda and they won’t budge. In recent months they have been visited by a big buck and I suspect there is another bun in the oven. If this keeps up we will have little garden left.
