Corned Beef Silverside for $8/kg at Coles, theres some value there considering it's 2025, makes great cold meat for summer,
Over the years in my experience it's become less popular, lower salt recipies around these days though.
When i started we use to sell hundreds of corned legs of hoggit/mutton every week but these days it's like zero.
This generation not as keen on corned products but they are pretty good none the less.
At $8/kg boneless it reflects the same price as Chicken, a whole chicken is about $4/kg these days and that equates to about $8/kg boneless/skin-on or about $9/kg skinless/boneless/no wings.
Anyway there some random, maybe useful knowledge for you's...
