I like AL3 but I am not a fan of this kind of announcement, particularly when it is marked as price sensitive - it is not. There is very little in this announcement that was not previously known and this is too close to spruiking their own stock for my liking.
Many other small companies do this kind of thing also, but whenever I see it, it raises a big red flag and an indication that the stock could be over-priced. Inexperienced investors often get sucked in by a pretty story - often one that leads nowhere. There is only one thing that counts, and that's sales.
I bought AL3 and have a buy rating on the stock only because it has an excellent sales trajectory and is approaching break-even. AL3 is a good company with good management that knows what they're doing and has skin in the game. I hope they keep walking the walk, and drop the spin. They don't need it and it is counter-productive.
