It was explained at the AGM that the top line results only included clinical assessments of the boys.
The laboratory results eg CD49D was only available to the Board at end of January.
This is because the external laboratory company waits until all blood tests are at their site and they run all samples at an allocated time slot of their choosing.
That is why the Board haven’t made any final decision regarding the future of the drug. But in the meantime the ongoing dosing of boys has stopped as no clinical benefit was seen.
The boys are also released from the study to afford them opportunity to enroll in other trials if they wish.
In addition detailed investigations into manufacturing are occurring as is standard practice in such situations. l

Remember it was CG who changed the trial to a shorter one..No Pharma wanted to touch us until results..
Where would we be if we had to cough up $120 million for the trial in Europe…( delisted)

Jg and AF got their options because they had a Partner lined up post read out.. also a great deal of fanfare organised.. post readout …
one can imagine their disappointment.
