What cashmeoutside outlined is exactly why someone like MAC would want to take over AMI.
Besides all the synergies of being in the same region shores up their balance sheet (assuming all script) and gives them access to someone to add a growth story to their portfolio.
So if you are at MAC you are thinking for a decent price this makes sense.
if you are at AMI you are thinking this needs to be a stupid price +35c and we'll start thinking about it
