Yes Nasdaq listing might already be factored into the price. Only from us Aussie investors though not the Americans. It is our company at the moment and us Aussies control the share price. Once it lists we lose control and we hang on for the ride.
The questions -
1.Will the Americans want to take a back seat to us? I don't think so. Not when Nasdaq trading is 28 times more than ASX trading.
2. How could they have factored in the Nasdaq listing into the price when they can't even trade it yet?
The truth is we will be looking at them for guidance on the share price and not vice versa. Upon listing on the Nasdaq the Americans can then trade it and if they like the story they will be rushing to buy it driving the price up. The next day when our market opens new investors here will be rushing to buy it based on activity in the US driving our local price up.
