I really don't mean to belittle her to insult her, but she is up very high in the public eye and I have held back in saying this all day, but now it amuses me too much to not mention it...
Last night, when Julia Gillard was dressed in her pin-striped oversized collared corporate dress with a long neckline and excessive make up...did she not look like the Penguin out of Batman?
I thought it quite funny - hilarious - but hardly deliberate. She was made dress in a very strange way, given the landscape in which she was reporting (emergency housing).
Then, we near wet ourselves as we watched her walk away from the mic....nay, waddle, just like the penguin does, less his cane.
On closer inspection (i was mesmerised and wondered if her fashion designer was taking the wee) she began to morph into a cross between Penguin and the Joker, with that really strange tight-lipped smile she does.
