Agree that when he is presenting it is not very polished. He doesn't seem to have done much to promote 4DS externally, but I feel this is a restriction from the BoD, he has to work on the direction of the BoD. Inadvertently he has probably let slip some insights on where we need to go that the BoD did not want to be revealed (partner required). Also, if he has had discussions, then it is all under an NDA (we can only hope he has but we won't know until the end).
Ting is the Key to the tech, most important person by far. I want Ting to have a person he can work closely with and trusts. PH is this person as they have known each other for a long time.
Any meetings with potential acquirors will have to include Ting, so PH would make Ting comfortable in these discussions. I don't think they are the weak link in 4DS.
I feel PH has been made look bad by working with DM.
Just my take on it.
