I get a real laugh at the irony in some of this, especially the big deal about water tanks. For this reason;
I have always lived in the bush, and our drinking water has only ever come from one source, and still does, rain tanks. 250,000 litres of it. We have never had any other source. But when I was a kid, our city cousins used to visit occasionally and teased us about our 'primitive' water supply. How can you live like that, its prehistoric.
Now of course, its us who has ample water, clean rainwater, and the city cousins who have restrictions of all kinds. But the really funy part that has me falling about, is that they and other experts now tell us how to mange water supply. Its hilarious.
