If im honest, this is what i feel is the real problem. I dont think Trump will effect much, he is too old and narcissistic to do much that will dramatically alter other people's lives. But he has now set a precedent that i feel we will all regret. One day a genuinely dangerous authoritarian will gain power and Trump has paved the way for them to get away with anything, whether it be left wing nightmares like persectuion of minority groups, or right wing nightmares like mandatory gender reassignment surgeries, someone will be able to use wealth, control of alternate media, and presidential immunity to do whatever they want to do,without control measures in place to regulate them.
Most likely it will be an autistic comicbook villain like Musk forcing all of us to have his brainchip implanted so we all have 24/7 data harvesting of our minds.
I guess then we can all reunite and mourn each other's woes.
