Hello. Try again. Sorry. I got carried away with my pricing . I just checked my research. My spreadsheet had AUD$900/t in revenue (at 66 cents exchange rate rather than US$). My spreadsheet uses US$400/t for psuedo-rutile and US$1,200/t for rutile. Its US$600/t in total rather than US$600/t for only pseudo-rutile. I try to be conservative. Since PTR will probably produce wet concentrates, I am not sure if these receive a discount.There are many types of products.
About the psuedo-rutile, SFX appear to be doing very badly. Their products appear mixed with all sorts of stuff; such as very high iron content. In Sep24, SFX received US$130/t for their 38.5% titanium ilmenite (which includes around 54% iron). Another website has 47% titanium concentrate at US$312/thttps://www.metal.com/Titanium/202102230001 While an upgraded "slag", that website also has reduced Ilmenite (TiO2≥56%) (USD/mt) for US$/566/t. While obviously more processed than a "wet concentrate", ILU (refer to table below) in Sept 24 appeared to sell its 58-62% TiO2 content "chloride ilmenite" for around US$425/t (AUD$647/t).
I guess the price of an ilmenite/psuedorutile will depend on the grade of the titanium. Ignoring the high value rutile as a bi-product, PTR has flagged a 66% titanium product for the psuedo-rutile.
