    IT’S A SMALL WORLD!

So, Telix bought another new toy! A platform for doing some stuff!

Telix Pharmaceuticals ... "today announces it has entered into an asset purchase agreement with antibody engineering company ImaginAb, Inc. (ImaginAb) to acquire a pipeline of next-generation therapeutic candidates, proprietary novel biologics technology platform, and a protein engineering and discovery research facility to enhance existing innovation capabilities.”

The seller, ImaginAB, is well known to Clarity Pharmaceuticals. (Ann: 21 July 2020). Clarity Pharmaceuticals and ImaginAb ".. will combine their proprietary technologies to develop novel minibody and cys-diabody radiopharmaceutical products using Clarity’s copper chelators to fully exploit the benefits of the theranostic pairing of copper-64 or copper-67. … “This collaboration will enable us to bring together ImaginAb’s unique expertise in designing minibodies, which are used to ensure rapid and highly specific targeting of tumours, with Clarity’s chelator technology, which will allow us to fully exploit the perfect pairing of copper-64 for diagnosis and copper-67 for therapy..."

Telix say they are buying a Platform, Pipeline, and People, as well as a facility that ImaginAb currently own!

IS THIS A CAUSE FOR CONCERN (for Cu6 holders)?
I don’t know - but here is why I do not think so (as far as the near term is concerned)!
    a) Although Telix have appeared intent on tripping Clarity (Chris boasted about buying some of Clarity’s supply chain when giving support to a view that Clarity is far from reaching marketisation of their products), I think this is different! What Clarity is working on with ImaginAb (if thats still on) is presumably still a long way away, perhaps similar stage or even earlier than what Telix bought.
    b) ImaginAb have agreements with many others, including Norvatis, JNJ, AstraZeneca. Pfizer, and Takeda. In May 2024, ImaginAb said they have ‘about 30 collaborations with global pharma outfits in cancer and immune, inflammatory and neurodegenerative disease’. IMO, I do not think they (ImaginAb) would agree to tie themselves up with just one partner, Telix, particularly with the offer as detailed!

This may well be a case of Telix flexing, in response to Lantheus coming across the big pond for an asset grab! (The Lantheus RAD deals)! Or perhaps, Telix being Telix: buying up everything that's on the shelf!

    TIME WILL TELL!
