    On a serious note, I ALWAYS advise people NOT to buy spec stocks with their retirement money (SMSF)...nothing worse than being poor when you're 70 / 80!

    no problem using today's savings as we all should take a punt whilst young(ish).... but don't screw up you're retirement!
