    You would be hard pressed to come up with a better business outcome than a merger between AGO and GIR, so I really doubt another bid will arise.

    Don't feel too bad though, as I'm pretty sure any 'instant wealth' forgone by a lack of an alternate bid will quickly be replaced by a rising 'New AGO' share price once these two companies merge.
