since white saphire is their name for aluminum oxide and a purity of 99.5%, then high purity white sapphire = high purity aluminum oxide (HPA) with a minimum purity level of 99%. since its higher than the old product it should be more than 99.5%. anything above 99.99% is priced at 25,000-50,000$ per ton.
there is no market for a product below the premium priced ones.
I hope they don't just want to produce 1 type since purity is just one criteria for a customer
