Ningbo Shanshan is the world's 2nd biggest anode manufacturer.

To get there they took on large amounts of debt as they expanded their refinery business.
Shanshan forever is a subsidery and more than likely owned by the now dead CEO.
With the tariffs in place against Chinese companies and with 1MC focused on Nevada it doesn't make sense for Shanshan to hold as the chances of expanding into the U.S. are Zero.

There is an upside for the whole Li market. I doubt China Inc want to see this business go belly up. The solution ofcourse is higher Li chemical prices to keep Chinese refinery businesses in business.
