Clear aerial shots of the floods around Brisbane can now be viewed on the Near Map site, its is being sitched together now,to show as at 13th January.

Here is a link that may help and you can play around from there, change the dates to see before & now shots [ the pages goes to Sherwood on the western side] I did help out in 1974 clean up in this area, the worrying thing is that it can occur again & again as the dam can,t hold back enough water as its used for storage also,
