MRQ is a fantastic mining explorer turned part producer. The story has been a long time in the making but they have tenaments locked in with mining licences that Western Mining were going to go fully develop but unfortunately their takeover by Rio Tinto scuppered it. Rio have since returned in a neighbouring site but cannot get a mining license after 4 years probably because they upset the locals.
Cashflows coming later in 2025 are fastidious from its Chinese joint venture partner who is fully funding all expenditures to get to production this year and beyond. MRQ have a take-out clause of $A80m if they sell out as insurance.
A new port has been built just 8kms away so export from the production plant is a slam dunk. Hell, each truck shifting these HMS wont go through a tank of diesel in a week.
There is soooo much other stuff that I can relate to readers if anyone is interested in pursuing.
The MC of MRQ stands at $A12m which is ludicrous. Its a sitting duck for a takeover at its current SP of 0.0045 similar to PTR which has none of the forward credibility that MRQ has already. If I had $20m in my bank account I would take it
Previous history.... Unfortunately they have been in bed with a 3rd tier brokerage firm who, to their credit has facilitated minimal CR's over the past few years. The 3 directors are totally frugal only drawing $100k pa each. This frugality and lack of getting the RIGHT connections in place means the SP continually suffers. Their marketing/PR person is just a tape-recording man-person who has no investor market connection whatsoever.
I believe, as an ex investment manager in years gone by, that this stock is such a mulit-multi-bagger and can easily re-rate by 45 times within now to EOY, so I am reaching out to peeps on this platform for help. Any advice as to how to get this stock onto the investor radar at large would be really appreciated or someone who can verify my research as to unbelievable value quietly.
I dont have a large axe to grind here, just a recent retiree who has all his nest egg of $5000 in this, his only investment as I firmly believe that its going to $450,000 by end of year.
