yes, CFDs are risky. Most leveraged products are. It is definitely not for the novice.
CFD positions are revalued everyday, not just the losses, but the gains too.
If you hold a large position, make sure that you have enough funds to cover the fluctuations in the instrument price to avoid margin calls.
I will never use CFD to trade any speculative stocks.
