Ultimately, the good doctor is running a business, and like any business, needs to limit his exposure to risk. As he had been recommending NKP for some time, his sell recommendation was probably inevitable as he needs to limit his own business's exposure to risk (ie loss of subscriptions). If he had been recommending another company also affected by the ConCourt decision, I'm sure he would have recommended subscribers (of which I am one) to sell their shares in that company. I think we all know what increased risk exposure feels like after these past six weeks! Like all NKP holders, I'll be glued to the trading screen once NKP starts trading again. However, I am optimistic that the Mining Minister is taking the actions required to reinstall investor confidence in investing in SA mining industries, while NKP/Genorah are working with the local communities, the DMR and the Minister to ensure that NKP offers the same level of risk to investors that investing in NKP represented before the ConCourt decision.
