Just read that article, interesting that rent payments made will be held up (as good as cash on hand-other asset) towards the 5% deposit criteria on a home loan applic!
they do say that other "ability to repay criteria is required...
Whew, for one minute there i thought we had some lack of stringency on bank loans ... (or just giving anyone their own ATM !)
Wow, i wonder, given the december2010 date on this article's details, if , infact the same scenario would pass the new lending standards introduced Jan1st 2011??
