Haha, just for fun (I'd already sold out) I emailed JZ very soon before the last CR and he told me the same thing! It was less than a month before the announcement.Cheeky little monkey. Not sure why anyone here wants to trust him at this point.

You're absolutely right in your reasoning about the CR inevitability and yes, they've already left it longer than they should have, so it's quite strange that you'd want to be holding, and either way it's very strange that you think the bad situation is already priced in! I won't call you crazy but I think you have an education coming to hit you whether you want it or not, and no doubt it'll sink in more effectively than my words ever could.

Something to consider is that the next CR isn't going to cover any sort of expansion or advancement, it's just going to be another keeping the lights on CR, and all signs point to plenty more being needed before the company can think about raising enough money to actually get on with any useful industrial activity. All that dilution to keep the lights on is going to lower the share price even if the market cap is maintained, which itself isn't assured but let's say you're right about the bleak outlook being priced in; to maintain the share price during all these CRs, the market cap would need to continually increase. Do you think that's a realistic expectation?

The upcoming figures are going to be very interesting. I think the amount which needs to be paid to Puna will shock people, and the reality of how much CR will be needed while the company sits in C&M will become apparent. For this reason I expect they'll try to raise as much money as possible before the next quarterly when the figures become clear. But, hey, maybe on that front I'm incorrect and the next one won't be all that big. Either way though, I can't see why someone who seems to be calm and using decent reasoning like yourself wants to hold. For those who are just deep in denial or otherwise being irrational it makes sense for them to believe any old nonsense, but it seems odd that you can see CRs will be needed to keep the lights on, for a long time, you've experienced JZ's contempt for shareholders first hand, yet you're still comfortable here.
