These indicative bids are not put forward without doing a credible amount of initial research. Bain & CC & ?? clearly see an asset that is worthwhile chasing and more so at the current $A value. Go in low and leave room to move - which is happening as we are speaking. A further bid will see IFL having to open its books. That is when these companies start sharpening their pencils and moving before the $A moves upwards (if?). Regulatory approvals will be a fly in the ointment as they always are.
