The study assumes a feed composition of end-of-life (EOL) magnet and swarf composition that
reflected a mid-point of samples tested by the Company over the past three years, with nominal
composition of 21% Nd, 7% Pr, 3% Dy and 1% Tb. Average metallurgical recovery for the process,
reflecting results achieved in laboratory, piloting and demonstration plant trials, and modelled using
SysCAD software for the study, was estimated at 89% Nd, 90% Pr, 90% Dy and 90% Tb.
