    I don’t know who, and not because I don’t think we lack the know how, or have the ability to. My main concern is based purely on the fact we have a two party system that starts and stops depending on who wins an election.

    Business doesn’t have the confidence anymore in our governments to maintain the impetus in any projects. That is why we are now in such a mess technologically, and most large projects end up outsourced offshore. Sad really.

    I am very concerned that we cannot provide sufficient energy needs for our future population increase, given the fact our energy infrastructure can’t even support our current needs.

    Gas and other energy resources are vital right now and must be part of the future. Plus, again, I don’t have a problem with well maintained nuclear energy. Leading scientists are now backing this play. Windmills and solar panels by themselves would never be able to completely meet our future energy needs at their current level of implementation.

    We need base load and that is currently at huge risk for all Australians. I’m all for clean energy but I also don’t want to keep paying an extra 20 to 40% increases in my power bill. Neither do our businesses.
