As I sit drinking my coffee and watching progressive uploads of abstracts to the conference site, a few questions occur to me.
1. If the conference abstract of a publicly listed company like IMU actually DOES contain significant new information, would that company be required to request the conference to wait on releasing the abstract until Monday so it can release that information to the public?
2. If a company was in commercial-in-confidence negotiations with a company, how do any confidentiality components of those negotiations impact on the intersection of conference/ASX obligations?
i.e, who/what takes priority in such situations? (Presumably the ASX needs to deal with such issues comparatively frequently.)
Not suggesting anything is currently in play, just Saturday morning musings.
